The missionary style, also known as the man-on-top position, is a classic sexual position where the person with the penis lies on top of their partner, who lies on their back.

It involves the penetrating partner thrusting their hips while the receiving partner can engage in various forms of stimulation, such as kissing, touching, or wrapping their legs around their partner’s body.

Although the missionary style is very well-known among the sexually active, there are some tips and tricks that could elevate it and make the experience more thrilling.

Take advantage of the position

Sexual partners who are doing the deed in the missionary position are placed face-to-face with the man (or penetrating partner) on top. Remember to use this to your advantage! Make out with your girl while doing it, or maybe kiss her neck.

While you’re at it, use your hands and fondle her breasts or grip her waist. There are several things you can do as a man during missionary!

Try different variations!

Missionary may be a simple sex position to assume, but it has different variations that can allow partners to enhance their sexy time. Here are some of them.

• The closed missionary is when you wrap your partner’s legs around you, allowing you to penetrate really deep into your sexy time playmate.
• You can go “legs-on-shoulders.” This means you lift your girl’s legs and keep them on your shoulders while doing it. See if your girl likes it.
• There’s also the pretzel missionary which adds an exciting twist to the experience, almost literally.
